Ingredients

  • 200 g low-fat cottage cheese β€” chilled
  • 60 g greek yogurt, plain β€” chilled
  • 80 g mixed berries, fresh or frozen β€” roughly chopped if large
  • 20 g whey or plant protein powder, vanilla or unflavored β€” ready to mix
  • 10 g ground flaxseed β€” ready to use optional
  • 10 g honey or maple syrup β€” liquid optional

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, add the low-fat cottage cheese and greek yogurt.
  2. Sprinkle the protein powder over the dairy mixture and stir slowly until completely smooth and well combined, adding a teaspoon or two of water if the mixture is too thick.
  3. Gently fold in the mixed berries so they are evenly distributed without crushing them too much.
  4. If using, stir in the ground flaxseed for extra fiber and drizzle the honey or maple syrup over the top for light sweetness.
  5. Divide the mixture into two small bowls or jars, cover, and chill in the fridge for at least 10 minutes to firm slightly before serving.

Tips for GLP-1 users

If your appetite is very low, start with half a portion, eat slowly, and save the rest for laterβ€”this snack is concentrated in protein and calories, so even a few spoonfuls can help you meet your needs on GLP-1 medication.

Use very cold ingredients and keep added flavors mild; cooler, neutral foods are often easier to tolerate when appetite is low or nausea is a concern.
